Welcome to my website!

Currently, I am a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor (official title is Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato - Tipo B) at the Department of Mathematics "Federigo Enriques" of the University of Milan.

My main scientific interests are concerned with the analysis of the regularity properties and the structure/classification of the singularities of solutions to problems in Geometric Analysis and Analysis of Geometric Flows, following an approach which combines state-of-the-art techniques in Geometric Measure Theory, Partial Differential Equations, and Calculus of Variations.

I completed my Ph.D. in November 2017 at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, under the supervision of Camillo De Lellis. After that, I spent four years as a Postdoctoral Researcher (Bing Instructor) at the University of Texas at Austin under the mentorship of Francesco Maggi.

NEWS

  • The paper entitled "End-time regularity theorem for Brakke flows", co-authored with Y. Tonegawa, was accepted for publication in Mathematische Annalen

  • Since 2024, I co-organize the Analysis Seminar of the Department of Mathematics "Federigo Enriques" together with Claudia Bucur and Mattia Calzi: website here

  • Since 2023, I am a member of the Steering Committee of the Departmental Center for Training and Research, founded by the Department of Mathematics "Federigo Enriques" within the framework of the initiative "Excellent Departments 2023 - 2027" by the Italian Ministry of University and Research: more info here
